On Friday, February 10, the Magic Valley’s top thirty performers battled onstage to earn audience votes and advance to the Top 10. Now the audience has spoken, and we’re excited to announce the lineup of the 2012 Magic Valley’s Got Talent Top 10 Showcase!

Top 30 Showcase Ticket Details

Online Ticket Sales for the Top 30 Showcase will close this Friday at 1pm sharp. From then on Top 30 tickets can only be purchased at Lighthouse Christian School located at 960 Eastland Drive in Twin Falls until 4:30pm. At 5:30 the lobby doors will open for everyone. Those that have purchase tickets in advance of Friday at 4:30pm can choose their seats between 5:30-6:00pm in the Auditorium. VIP ticket holders can enter the VIP area at any time. VIP food and drinks will stop being served shortly before the event begins. General ticket sales will resume at 5:30 (if any tickets are still available) and these ticket holders can take their seats in the Auditorium at 6:00pm.

*Ticket winners who have not redeemed their codes online by 1pm this Friday will forfeit their VIP status. You will still be able to use your code for a general admission seat but we would prefer you redeem your code so you can enjoy the perks of being a VIP winner!

*Top 30 VIP tickets have sold out online. There are only a very few available for purchase at Lighthouse Christian School on a first come first serve basis. You can not purchase tickets over the phone.

*VIP ticket holders, doors open at 5:30. Check-in at the VIP table first, then choose a seat from the VIP seating section. Hors d’ouvres and refreshments will be served in the coffee house area until 6:15ish.

This week, we’ve been attempting to connect with all of our Top 30 winners via phone or email. If you’re on this list and you HAVEN’T heard from us yet, we may not have the correct information on file for you, so it’s very important that you get in touch with us as soon as possible. If we’re not able to make contact with you by 2:00pm on THIS Saturday, January 28, we’ll have to choose an alternate act to fill your spot.

Audition Information

There is still time to audition for MVGT 2012. Online Video auditions will be open until 5pm Saturday January 14th. Also there are still time slots available for the live auditions this coming weekend. To reserve your time slot, register here.

For all of you who have already submitted your video audition online, we’re happy to report that to date we’ve been able to successfully download 100% of online video auditions. So you can kickback and look forward to the announcement of the Top 30 January 22nd.

For the remainder of you who have signed up for the live auditions this weekend, we have a few helpful reminders for you:

-If you registered but were unable to schedule an audition, please visit here to reserve your time slot.

-Be early and have all technical equipment (guitars, amps, props, etc.) ready to go when it’s your turn.

-If you are performing with a background track, you will need to deliver a finished copy by Thursday, January 12th to Lighthouse Christian School, 960 Eastland Drive. The song should be on a CD and must be labeled with your name and audition number. Please make sure the CD has ONLY your performance track and that it is cut down to the correct length for your five-minute slot. We cannot be responsible for editing or queuing your song up to a correct starting point.

-All lyrics should be screened and approved by MVGT staff before your audition. To keep this event family-friendly, profanity, suggestive lyrics and adult themes will not be permitted in any performances.

-Each contestant will have a total of either five or ten minutes to set up and perform (five minutes for small groups and individuals, ten minutes for bands and large groups requiring special setup or sound checks). Multiple takes as long as it does not go over your 5 minute time limit.
